In my practical experience, now a days, IEB certification are not that important for having job in IT industry or computer engineering related field. As, private companies and firms as well as international companies higher students based on their personal practical experiences, so anybody can be successful computer engineer. In some cases, students don’t have cs degree still can qualify for a CS job by their practical excellence; which totally depends on your thirst of knowledge and many of the students now a days prepare for the jobs on their own home computer, by online judges, doing projects. Success on jobs only depends on students determination and practice.

As, many universities such as DU had not a IEB certification, so there was a case field for it. The result of the case was this is just a club. So, IEB certification still important for many applications. But if you focusing for a job in software or computer or it related field; you can still have a job as an engineer without having IEB certification. Adding Engr, before name is not that important.

So, studying in NU professional bachelor degree program can be a win win situation for a middle class student for sure. As my seniors including me and my friends are having a good carrier by passing out of NU professional BSc program in CSE.
